We were contacted by "Paul Orsini's assistant as a "preliminary screen" for an alleged production of a cable television series on PAX titled "Focus on American Lives". The caller stated that PANDORA could be a "good fit" for the show after researching our web site.  

A follow-up appointment was made with Paul Orsini for the next day. His conversation raised a few red flags and one of our board members researched the company's name on the Internet and found several posting in the web site - Rip-off Reports.com .

While we were not financially harmed by the scam, we are concerned that others charitable organizations may be convinced in hiring them for a movie production and lose financially.

We are sharing this with the media hoping that someone will send a community alert. Unfortunately South Florida can be a hub for these types of scams. By disseminating this information we hope to prevent future fraud not only targeted towards charitable organizations but towards other types of businesses as well. Their "MO" (modis operandi) adapts their "sales pitch or approach" based on the type of industry or business they contact.
