California jewelry brand ‘gorjana’ opens on Bethesda Row

BETHESDA, MD – California-based jewelry chain Gorjana will open on Bethesda Row this fall, the owners have announced.

“Although our roots are based in Laguna Beach, our customer base in the Washington, DC and Bethesda areas has grown exponentially over the years, so we are thrilled to launch our retail experience at Bethesda Row,” said Gorjana Reidel and Jason Griffin Reidel, Gorjana co-founders. “We are eager to take our distinctively Californian style further to the East Coast and are excited to introduce and reintroduce the community to Gorjana.”

The jewelry brand is known for its simplistic gold designs and layered sets. Prices range from $ 20 for a stud to $ 765 for a diamond necklace. The store will sell necklaces, bracelets, rings, charms and earrings.

The founders also plan to order a mural on the exterior wall, as the “centerpiece” of the storefront. The director of Federal Realty, which owns the building, said the store would fit right into the Bethesda Strip.

“We are delighted to welcome Gorjana’s first DC metro location to Bethesda Row’s exciting and evolving mix of retail stores and restaurants,” said Vanessa Mendoza, Senior Director of Federal. “With its classic style, the beautiful line of jewelry is an ideal choice. for the types of brands and products that our customers and neighbors love to buy. “

The store will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
