Jewelry designer Anna Zuckerman, founder of the emerging demi-fine jewelry brand Anna Zuckerman Luxury, announced this week that it will open the brand’s first-ever store, a flagship store in Boca Raton, Fla., on February 1.
Zuckerman creates affordable platinum-plated sterling silver collections that nod to modern high jewelry trends, but also reflect red carpet glamour. In the tradition of mid-century costume jewelry, Zuckerman’s collections are quality, a fact underscored by the comprehensive two-year warranty the brand attaches to every piece. And the jewels are so shiny that their metals are almost irrelevant. The line sparkles with lab-grown gemstones and high-grade carbon-coated cubic zirconia (using nanotechnology), resulting in a sparkling stone that Zuckerman deposited Diamond Crystalline. Prices for base pieces in the collection hover around $200.
“The demand for price-conscious luxury jewelry is very high,” Zuckerman said. JCK. “In these difficult times, frivolous and reckless spending is unconscionable. We are bringing a vital advantage to an untapped market. We are making luxury accessible to everyone.
The collection’s bestsellers always include tiaras “for weddings, bat mitzvahs and quinceañeras,” she says. “Tiaras are timeless heirlooms passed down from generation to generation.”
The newly constructed 900 square foot store in the Mizner Park Mall will feature turquoise and malachite acrylic panels that echo some of the colors in the collection. Built by Albanese Development of Boca Raton, the sleek and glamorous space will feature a long row of cushioned benches for consultations. “Everything lends itself to contemporary royal Hollywood glamour, from concept to design,” notes Zuckerman.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the store will strictly follow CDC-mandated guidelines, including mask wearing and social distancing. Zuckerman says she has developed a proprietary antiseptic that “cleans jewelry perfectly and disinfects all surfaces, against diseases, including COVID-19. It will be used to disinfect the store thoroughly every hour on the hour. Anything touched by human hands will be meticulously cleaned, especially worn jewelry. Safety barriers are in place and masks will be applied to provide multiple layers of protection for customers and staff. »
The jewelry entrepreneur grew up in a family of goldsmiths and jewelers and worked in the jewelry industry for more than 20 years, before opening a fine jewelry store in Wisconsin in 1996.
With her own collection, she hopes to be a kind of modern fairy godmother, sprinkling sparkle on women to brighten their spirits. “I want to empower every woman today to embrace her beauty, her confidence and her inner strength,” she says. “No need for long-term wish lists or saving. Every woman deserves to shine now.”
