The Heidi Lowe Gallery’s jewelry making class offerings continue throughout August. Students will learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and wear their own handmade creation.
“Each class is designed for fun and success,” Lowe said.
The Patterned Hoop Earrings class will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 1. The hoop earring is a timeless must-have. Students will handcraft their own pair to add to their earring collection. The cost is $145.
The Layered Pendant class is scheduled from 5-8 p.m., Monday, August 8. Participants will learn how to make a layered silver pendant with images inspired by nature. The cost is $135.
The Beach Treasure Pendants class will be held from 5-8 p.m., Monday, August 15. Students can bring in a special found item and learn how to put it into a silver pendant. The cost is $120.
The Dog/Cat Tags class is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, August 22. Participants will learn metalworking techniques to make a special wearable tag for a furry friend. The cost is $100.
The Mantra Cuff Bracelet class is scheduled for 5-8 p.m., Monday, August 29. Participants make their own wearable piece of sterling silver jewelry that is engraved with a personal mantra. The cost is $145.
Rings of Intention classes will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays, August 1, 8, and 15. Evening classes will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays August 22 and 29. Students will learn the basics of metalworking. techniques to create a hand-textured silver ring with their word of intent stamped inside. The cost is $120.
Closing of registrations the Saturday preceding the date of the course. Participants must be at least 13 years old.
