Heidi Lowe Gallery’s Jewelry Making Classes Continue in July


The Heidi Lowe Gallery offers many three-hour jewelry making classes every Monday in July.

Students will learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and wear their own handmade creation.

The Mantra Cuff Bracelet class is scheduled for 2-5 p.m., Monday, July 4. Participants make their own sterling silver jewelry with a personal mantra engraved on it. Participants will learn how to saw, texture, stamp, shape and polish metal to create a unique, finished cuff bracelet. The cost is $145.

The Layered Pendant class is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, July 11. Participants will make a layered silver pendant with images inspired by nature. No previous experience in metallurgy is required. Individuals will learn how to cut, file, solder and polish their jewelry. The cost is $135.

A beach glass ring workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 9. Students will learn how to make a ring and set a piece of beach glass into silver. The cost is $245.

Closing of registrations the Saturday preceding the date of the course. Participants must be at least 13 years old.

The Heidi Lowe Gallery is open for shopping by appointment, curbside pickup, and for private and group classes at 17522 Ward Ave., Lewes.
