The Heidi Lowe Gallery will be offering different jewelry making classes every Monday in June. Students will learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and wear their own creation out the door. Each three-hour class is designed for fun, success and safety.
The Mantra Cuff Bracelet class is scheduled for 5-8 p.m., Monday, June 6. Participants will make their own sterling silver cuff bracelet with a personal mantra engraved on it. The cost is $145.
The Layered Pendant class is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, June 13. Participants will learn how to make a layered silver pendant with images inspired by nature. The cost is $135.
A Stacker Rings class will be held from 5-8 p.m., Monday, June 20. The cost is $130. Participants will learn how to cut, file and shape metal and make three different rings to stack or wear separately. This course is perfect for beginners.
A Beach Treasure Pendant class will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 27. Students can bring in a special found item and learn how to put it into a silver pendant. The cost is $120.
Rings of Intention classes will be held each Monday in June and students will learn the basic metalworking techniques to make a hand-textured silver ring with their word of intention stamped inside. Daytime sessions are scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., June 6 and 20; and evening sessions will take place from 5 to 8 p.m., June 13 and 27.
Closing of registrations the Saturday preceding the date of the course. No experience is necessary. Participants must be at least 13 years old.
