Jewelry making class at the Heidi Lowe Gallery on June 7th


Heidi Lowe Gallery offers two different 2.5 hour jewelry making classes every Monday throughout the summer.

Each course is designed for fun, success and safety. Students will learn how to make jewelry from start to finish and how to wear their own handmade jewelry at the door.

The Intention Rings course will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 7. During this lesson, each student will come up with an Intent Word that embodies what they want to attract, cultivate, or focus on in their life. Students will learn the basic metalworking techniques to make a silver ring with their word stamped on it and leave with a portable reminder of their intention.

Pendant with tube crimping The class will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 7. Participants will learn how to create a small silver pendant with a faceted colored stone. The instructor will guide students through each step of the jewelry making process, which includes sawing, filing, polishing and crimping the tube, to create a beautiful finished piece.

Registration closes on Friday June 4. No experience is required. Participants must be at least 13 years old.
