Jewelry making classes at the Heidi Lowe Gallery to start January 11


Starting in January, the Heidi Lowe Gallery will be offering a wide variety of 2.5-hour jewelry making classes for people of all ages and skill levels looking for something fun and creative to do.

“Our courses are perfect for any beginner student or those who are strengthening their skills. We can accommodate children from 14 years old. It’s a really fun way to spend the afternoon and end with a handmade piece of jewelry in a safe and creative environment, ”said Lowe.

Classes will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays. Each class will focus on a specific theme and a set of jewelry making skills. The program is as follows: Phases of the moon necklace or earrings, January 11; ring set with a tube, January 25; hearts pendant, February 8; forged earrings, February 22; wire-drawn earrings, March 22; mantra mantra bracelet, April 5; patterned earrings, April 19; and stackable rings, May 3.

The Heidi Lowe Gallery team follows all COVID-19 security guidelines and protocols outlined by the CDC and government officials. The health and safety of the community is of the utmost importance. Classes are limited in size to allow for social distancing. Tools and surfaces are cleaned frequently. Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times in the studio. The use of hand sanitizer on arrival is mandatory, and sanitizer is readily available throughout classes, as are sanitizing wipes. The team will monitor the situation closely and adjust guidelines and protocols as necessary to ensure the safety of students and staff.
