Jewelry making classes continue on May 17 at the Heidi Lowe Gallery


Heidi Lowe Gallery has a variety of upcoming jewelry making classes.

Each three-hour class is designed for fun, success and safety. Students will learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and wear their own handmade creation.

Dog/Cat Tags The class is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, May 17. Participants will learn metalworking techniques, including sawing, stamping and riveting sheet metal, and use them to make a special tag to wear for a four-legged friend. The cost is $100. Everyone will leave class with a tag ready to attach to a pet’s collar.

The Beach Treasure Pendants class will be held from 1-4 p.m., Tuesday, May 24. Students can bring in a special found item and learn how to put it into a silver pendant. The cost is $120.

A beach glass ring workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, June 11. Students will learn how to make a ring and set a piece of beach glass into silver.

Closing of registrations the Saturday preceding the date of the course. No experience is necessary. Participants must be at least 13 years old.

The Heidi Lowe Gallery is open for shopping by appointment, curbside pickup, and for private and group classes at 17522 Ward Ave., Lewes.
