Meghan Markle loves a gold accessory. The Duchess of Sussex was no exception last weekend at the Invictus Games, where she caused a stir in an all-white pantsuit, accessorized with a number of gold pieces.
Some of Markle’s jewelry had symbolic and historical significance – her diamond Cartier earrings were the same pair she wore to her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, while her Cartier tank watch is the same style favored by Princess Diana (who many believe Markle may have inherited from her late beau -mother). However, one of the most dazzling pieces she wore over the weekend came from Brooklyn-based jewelry brand Catbird – and the same style is still available to buy online.
The “Kitten Mitten” hand bracelet, one of Catbird’s latest designs adapted from its earlier Star Crossed Hand bracelet, wraps to the middle finger and drapes gracefully across the front of the hand. It’s still available to buy on Catbird’s website for $238, and given the exposure the brand has gotten over the past few days, you’ll want to grab it fast before it sells out.
Catbird posted on her Instagram shortly after Markle was photographed in her design, introducing the brand to her new followers and explaining her ethical design process: “Hello new friends! If you found us via MM, let us tell you a bit about Catbird… We believe in consciously crafting and producing, using only the most ethical gold and gemstones – and doing as much vertically as possible .
Markle has been a longtime fan of the boutique jewelry brand, which has attracted high-profile clients such as Zoe Kravitz and Olivia Wilde since its founding in 2013. One of Markle’s go-to pieces are her worn rings, which she stacks often with heavier rings. jewelry.
