Jaxxon is expanding its online order fulfillment operations to serve customers in more than 150 countries.
Los Angeles-based direct-to-consumer jewelry collections and accessories retailer for men and women manages global online fulfillment with Descartes Systems’ e-commerce warehouse management system (WMS) Cloud-based group.
Jaxxon relies on the Descartes WMS solution to ensure it can ship the right items on time, without overselling existing inventory and while maintaining full transparency into warehouse operations. The retailer has automatic access to order information, which they can execute through mobile strategies to pick and pack multiple orders, and then integrate them into parcel shipping systems.
Ahead of the 2020 end-of-year celebrations, Jaxxon has set up its warehouse and the Descartes solution in parallel. Now, the company can process six times more orders per day than it could in its old factory before the 2020 holiday season.
