The Heidi Lowe Gallery organizes summer jewelry creation sessions

Heidi Lowe Gallery is offering a variety of jewelry making classes this summer. Students will learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and wear their own handmade creation.

A beach glass ring workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 9. Students will learn how to make a ring and set a piece of beach glass into silver. The cost is $245.

The Layered Pendant class is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, July 11. Participants will craft a layered silver pendant with images inspired by nature. No previous experience in metallurgy is required. Participants will learn how to cut, file, solder and polish their jewelry. The cost is $135.

The Mantra Cuff Bracelet class is scheduled for 5-8 p.m., Monday, July 18. Participants make their own sterling silver jewelry with a personal mantra engraved on it. They will learn how to saw, texture, stamp, shape and polish metal to create a unique, finished cuff bracelet. The cost is $145.

Rings of Intention classes will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mondays, July 11 and 18, and August 1 and 8. Students will learn basic metalworking techniques to create a hand-textured silver ring with their word of intent. stamped inside. The cost is $120.

A Stacker Rings class will be held from 5-8 p.m., Monday, July 25. The cost is $130. Participants will learn how to cut, file and form metal, and make three different rings to stack or wear separately. This course is perfect for beginners.

Closing of registrations the Saturday preceding the date of the course. Participants must be at least 13 years old.
