Vhernier, the Italian fine jewelry brand that counts J. Lo and Kerry Washington among its fans, arrives in New York

Italian jeweler Vhernier took bold steps to establish itself in the New York market this summer by opening two stores in Manhattan eight days apart. Hoping to attract two distinct clienteles, the brand settled on Madison Avenue and Wall Street.

At 400 square feet, the Wall Street site is like a jewelry box, located on the first floor below Harry’s Bar in Cipriani (appropriately, the space was once a First National Bank). The Financial District location aims to attract more men to Vhernier and as such are on display their signature cufflinks and a range of jewelry on offer starting at $650. Its convenient location makes the perfect stop after lunch or activity while waiting for a dinner date.

Meanwhile, the downtown location between 66th and 67th Streets is the crown jewel: a two-story, 2,600-square-foot boutique conveniently located in Madison Jewelry Row. It’s a world away from Wall Street – and it is. But, like other pioneering high jewelry houses, Vhernier plays at both ends of the island.

Tribes The well traveled sophisticated; women aged 30 to 70 with a strong personality and a curiosity for culture.
