MENOMONEE FALLS, Wisconsin (WFRV) – Police are trying to identify a man who attempted to break into a window display at a jewelry store in southern Wisconsin last month.
The Menomonee Falls Police Department reports the man attempted to break glass with a brick at a Kay jeweler in early June.
In video released by the police department, the man can be seen throwing the brick nine times at the case. The brick repeatedly cracks the glass and bounces back, but does not break through until its final attempt. At this time, a store employee can be seen walking towards the man.
The man then turns around, kicks the door open, and runs out of the jewelry store. The employee then chases the man out of the store with some sort of store prop and momentarily follows his car through the parking lot.
The police are still looking for the man. As seen in the video, the man was wearing a red t-shirt, black baseball cap, tan cargo shorts and red/white Jordan shoes. He is described as between 5’07” and 6′ tall, average height with tattoos on his right arm/forearm and a beard.
